PEERS® for Adolescents is an evidence-based social skills program for adolescents interested in making and keeping friends and handling conflict and rejection.

Participants are taught social skills through:

  • Didactic lessons and role-play demonstrations
  • Practice during group socialization activities
  • Parent participation (parents learn how to assist adolescents in making and keeping friends)

Course Curriculum

Participants will learn about:

  • Developing and maintaining friendships
  • Conversational skills and electronic communication
  • Entering and exiting conversations
  • Appropriate use of humour
  • Handling disagreements, teasing, and bullying
  • Being a good sport and changing a reputation
  • Organising get-togethers

Who: Adolescents aged 11–16 years old
When: Starting 22nd April | 07:30 – 08:45 am

Duration: 12-Week Course
