Our programme is delivered by our qualified Clinical Psychologists and utilises evidence-based strategies that work in real life, not just theory. At CY&A Psychology, we offer a supportive environment tailored to your child’s developmental needs.

Executive functioning involves a set of coordinated cognitive skills that help your child engage in purposeful, goal-directed, self-regulated behaviour (McCloskey, 2012) and develop self-regulation: the ability to pause, adjust actions and work toward goals (Barkley, 2012).

Challenges with executive functioning skills are often seen in neurodivergent young people (such as in ADHD, Autism and Tourette’s Syndrome) and in young people with anxiety disorders. However, many young people experience these difficulties without any other diagnosis.

If your child is struggling with organisation, focus or managing day-to-day responsibilities then this programme can help them.
